OK, so right out the bat I'm going to say that the requirement here may sound iffy, but it isn't as far as I know. A chap in our street is in need of some contract test resource, so quoting his mail...

Thanks for your help tonight. Here is a brief outline of the requirement:
A number of contracts for various projects in embedded SW development - mainly testing - working on safety-related projects (although safety-related experience not reqd) in defense, aerospace, railways, avionics, nuclear. The projects are located in Bristol, Bath, Southampton, Portsmouth and Cambridge - so they would need to specify their preferred location.
I am likely to have an ongoing requirement for people - so it is not a problem if they are not immediately available.
Please ask them to contact me with a CV (showing their name but with contact details removed) & preferred location, and I will phone them to discuss in more detail to decide if we should submit their CV or not.

And before you ask, he's not an agent, but a tester himself. If you are interested then PM me and I will pass on his email address.

LIke I said I'm only passing on the mail. Perhaps I would suggest that if you are interested then you add your phone number into the email you are sending?
