    Phishing or Pushing?

    Dear Joe,

    Further to our conversation regarding the position at Client IT&S Ref: 78432(please ensure that this reference is used in all future correspondence, both verbal and written). Please reply to this email to confirm that you would like to be considered for this role and that you have not, to the best of your knowledge, already been submitted by another agency. A simple "I confirm" reply will suffice. Your CV is currently being reviewed by the Account Manager and they will contact you should your CV be selected. If your CV is selected to be submitted to Client you will be required to supply us with references for your two most recent employers. If you are currently in a role, references from the two roles immediately prior to the current role will be accepted (confirmation of details from HR will suffice). You will also be required to provide a copy of the cover and back page of your passport demonstrating your right to work in the UK (if applicable, a copy of your visa). Kind regards Anna Robson Sales Support Squeaky Clean IT People Ltd

          . I also got job specs and 'rate yourself 1 to 5' tulip.

          But there is a real possibility 'unfortunately your application is not successful at this time'.

          Wonder whats the next wobbly!

            Wot! Like this? How odd!
            How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

                  They have no role at all. They would not dare throw up any sort of unnecessary barrier to the right candidate for the right job. I suggest you give them your previous agents as references.

                    WHS+1;

                    Usually when an agent has a real role and sees my CV as a perfect fit I know because they give off the impression that they would drive round to my house to get me to commit.
