Exactly, unlike Lucifers posts on these boards which are tantamount to unsolicited spamming. Oh!
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

I have actually contacted and received details about advertising. Thanks.Considering it.To be honest given the attitude of some(not all) then it would be a waste of money.

Not sure my original post was advertising. It was asking for feedback on a concept that doesnt exist at present.

I also posted a thread re a vacancy i had for BAs/Pms with Eracent/Asset management tool implementations but that was pulled too.

Hindsight is 20/20.If i knew then what i knew now i'd never have pmd you LB. I'd have picked someone else. It's clear that you have nothing constructive to say.

why dont you post the pm i sent you and let others decide whether it's spam?Assuming they are bothered.

Then again that would spoil your attention seeking threads like this one......sorry have i breached the social code again?

Be-Positive. You've got to get the hang of it. If you think Lucifer is a c unt, then tell him. We do.

          Lucifer you're a c unt.

          See easy.

Damn you, MF, you're as cunning as a fox. I've just consulted my solicitor over your insightful comment and he says you can't bring a claim for libel if the allegedly libelous remark is true.

Be-Positive, your post is unfair. For the record, Lucifer is one of the most helpful and constructive members of this forum. It's not a case that members of this forum have fragile egos; this board has plenty of p1ss taking and it's all part of the delicate charm. What ruffled a few feathers is simply the way you went about it.

I made a point. Maybe my point was right and maybe it was wrong, but it wasn't a criticism of your site or your services. I don't know what prompted your original reply but that then set the tone. I remember you posted a similar question on the old board and I asked you a few questions; certainly no attacks there.

For what it's worth, your intention is an interesting one. There is certainly a hole in the market in terms of a comprehensive training package for BAs. I can go to any bookshop and find a dozen books on how to be a project manager, but nothing similar for a BA. The problem you face is one of demand. If a client isn't demanding a particular certification then very few people will be willing to spend money on it. Why do so many people go for Prince 2 cert? Simply because the client expects it. I have never been asked to produce a BA certification. Maybe it's a chicken and egg situation...

Thank you, Slave. As always you are the steady voice of reason around which the the board revolves.

Be-Positive, there's no point in banging on about it, that just ruffles feathers even more. For whatever reason, your initial reponses were out of order and that got peoples' back up. The fact that your threads were deleted seems to indicate the board moderators also found something objectionable in them.

In summary, you are offering a product that is of very limited or no interest to the majority of BA contractors, who primarily sell their experience. Clients recruting contract BAs go through this decision tree:

                a) Has the BA worked on a project exactly like this one before?
                No - CV in bin
                Yes - Go to b)

                b) Was the project delivered on time and to budget?
                No - CV in bin
                Yes - shortlist for interview

Paper qualifications are never considered because there is no standard qualification for BAs. You are orders of magnitude more likely to be asked for Prince2 certification than for a BA Diploma. At the end of the day, time is money and no contractor is going to spend time and money on something nobody is asking for.

This sort of offering is more appropriate for the permie world where the PM can send off one of his BAs at company expense on a training course in order to give the BA some sort of feeling that the company is investing in his future.
