And I just had to turn down an interview back at my old place, much lower rate but a full year contract much closer to home. Despite this, it feels like I've done the right thing.

Benched since Jan 13th.

Did not see the role advertised - my CV was picked up by an agency trawling the job boards. I'm sure you've seen the sort of thing: "I have a contract for a xxx... please reply with CV if interested". In fact almost all my interviews came about like that.

Going back to my roots a bit with this, or to put it another way - my well-proven core skills, rather than continuing down the project management road. But a good mix of business & technical in a new industry (helping to diversify my experience) and I will certainly give value for money.

Since this morning I've been invited to 2 further interviews.
