Word is that all contract roles at a not so large now scottish bank are going to be outsourced... Not just tech roles all PM roles will also be outsourced. Very bad move from the new boss.

BT are doing the same thing too.
It will hurt them when things pick up and we can't or won't work for them again!
Someone said the 3 or 4 day week in a meeting today at my current contract, don't think so...we have more work than we can deliver now! -
This wouldn't be the same one that bought a Dutch bank at the top of the market and paid waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the odds for it, would it?
I was working at the Dutch bank at the time and the champagne corks were flying.Comment

With the contract market so poor in Edinburgh .. thinking will have to possibly relocate or maybe try and move into something completely different..
Af first it was development roles offshored .. then testing .. now seems to be everything else ..Comment
