What I shared is my personal experience with them, as many people here were too negative that's it.
I am PHP web developer, and I am actively looking for a new contract, no matter front/back end.

Does the fact that anyone can just browse onto their server (not talking about recruiters or agencies here) and pull your CV out not bother you?

I repeat I am just sharing my experience with them - I learned a lot from them regarding the UK market.
For example, the CV format for UK differs greatly from that in other countries in Europe, not to mention USA. And this is the first cornerstone to overcome. Here you need 3-4 pages with details. In USA and in my country, we prefer short CVs, 1 or 2 pages max, simple and to the point. Also, I did not know before BITE there is such a thing like contract market, as in my country it does not exisit, at least not in this format. As I stated if you could show me better pathway I am opened, yet up to now I am receiving only ironic, sarcastic replies with no better alternative. And many people openly list their CV in linkedin.

Well, for those non-natives trying to get into the UK contract market they might as well blow their money there as anywhere.

I would advise anyone though to just use google.

Not with addresses, home phone numbers and other such stuff. The site is an identify thief dream.

I'm currently a victim, I thought after giving them 15% for 65 days I could walk away to do my own thing, but no they are not having it. They just "kindly" reduced their margin to 10% for the duration of the contract. I got my contract applying for jobs on Jobserve, had absolutely nothing to do with them. I have though of walking away from the situation but don't want to ruin my relationship with recruitment agency that introduced me for the contract. I'm deeply disgusted with the whole BS and need to rid myself of Bite ASAP. Can anyone please recommend a lawyer specialised in situations such as this? I need help
