    Own Comapny Redundancy???

    Hello !!

I'm closing down my limited company to work in a permie role ... I know, I know ... it'll all end in tears. But circumstances dictate and all that.

Could I make myself redundant and take out say £30k tax free? Any help or guidance greatfully received.:hat

    No.

you could try but the IR will not find you so much cheeky as tax evading.

There are specific rules about redundancy payments.

      Speak to an accountant

You can pull some money out of a dissolved company, but I don't think redundancy is the most tax-effective way to do it.
