    SC clearance with restrictions

My SC clearance came thru 2 yrs ago but with a line of restriction saying documents cannot be taken out without permission from owner.

I've been working for 3 yrs and my current employer is fine with it.

I'm recently offered with a good role from different employer which requires SC clearance.

will this restriction in my sc clearance be a problem while transfering the clearance to new employer?

    any advice pls..

I thought that not being able to take docs off of the premises was a function of the document, not the person.

How about asking the new client the question? Whenever I went for an interview where SC was required, I always stated to the client that I have a caveat on my clearance due to my Diabetes. They were ok with that. If you don't discuss your caveat with the client, you are possibly opening up a can of worms when it comes to trust with the client.
