Venn Group & Agent Interview..!!

I have seen previous posts here about Venn Group conducting interviews before client interview ...But I donot know if any one got jobs after this agent interview progressing into client interview or even get chance to have client interview..

I wasted my time & money to visit Venn Group agent ..
Looks like he was keen on getting reference than any thing more.
I just filled minimum info in their forms & returned..
Looks like its was a total waste of time & energy.
Any one else here had bad experience with Venn's New tricks..???

Unless some one prove it otherwise, please be cautious of Venn Group and their agency interview..its a total waste of time & money..Just a new trick to get reference directly..

Imagine if you travelled 50 miles to meet this guy..who spends 5 minutes with you and asks you to fill Reference details in the form...Its was n't that fun rreally..

I've always just point blank refused to do agency interviews, as you've learnt the hard way, a complete waste of time IMO. A pimp I dealt with recently folded pretty quickly and passed me over to the "senior consultant" for a 5 min chat, which turned out to be an obvious fishing call anyway.

Basic rule of thumb - Agency interviews are pointless wasted of time. There is no job and all they want is to screw you for leads.

Hardly new mate. Agents have been pulling this for years. You learn the hard way I guess.

Ven are useless, so useless they have to call up clients to find out if their own contractors are still working with the client

Mr. Agent from Venn just confirmed to me that "Unfortunately X Company taken off this role as they found some one internally"...I will be in their Top List & if some thing else come up, I will in top in the list..!!!

About 3 years ago I was asked for an interview at Venn. They said it was in their terms and conditions with their clients. I had to travel from Cambridge to London (Oxford street I think). Filled out the form, I was asked pointless questions. But I got the gig. If they're doing this for phantom jobs then I'd be raging!!
