IME, Modis pay rubbish rates. Margins of 50% used to be the norm.

They would always, always, advertise stale jobs. If you replied to one of their jobs you would never get a sniff of interest from the client, but miraculously you might get an interview for a job which you hadn't seen posted and then a couple of weeks later, when it was filled, you would see adverts for it.

I am with the "cockney wide boys". Appropriate term as they are quite close to bow bells. And they have been great with me and everyone I know who is with them.

I spent 3 years with Modis, best agency I've ever worked for by a long way. Good rates, pay on time, bought me lunch most months.

I'm most surprised they've resorted to a phishing exercise... if that is what it is?

I was with Modis for 3 years too, and highly recommend them. Again, good rates, paid on time, etc.

Yeah Modis were good for me too, I had the best rate in our team with the least experience, paid weekly everyone else was on a monthly cycle.

They came down from Sheffield, bought me lunch, Their margin was about 10% no complaints at all.

Havent worked with Modis but I speak to one of their agents regularly. I've always been in a contract when rung by them but they seem quite professional. Never had any attempts to get references from me or anything.

I had the same email (assuming it's for SAP?) yesterday. Perhaps there really are some roles available (if only I had the relevant SAP experience*...)

To be honest, Modis have only sent me roles that were not appropriate for me. This style of approach is not the first time I seen from them. Things appear to be desparate.
