Hi

The hardest part of this job is asking for money.

The goals are

Install Active Directory on two servers.
One of the domain controllers needs to be a fax server
One terminal services server needs setting up
One web server needs setting up
One RAS server needs setting up. This allows users to connect in and work on the terminal services system
5 new windows xp pro pc's need to be setup and added to the domain
No real group policies are needed

Jammy git, what an easy contract to get, that's the sort of thing that's right up my street (well, if I ever bother getting the webtulipe sorted and the promo material out to advertise! I'm too comfy on a nice daily rate at the council to bother at the moment). I wish you all the best with it.

About £5k for the job would be fair.

I do similar jobs sometimes and realistically, i'd quote £1500 for the work you describe.

350/day for installing AD etc is not the going rate. Mebbe if you are setting up a specialist app like sap then you might get these rates but theres a load of people out there that will happily do this job for 100/day so going in way to high is not a good idea.
