      You you must have a company secretary. You do not have to pay him/her, however for about £200 you can get a professional holding company to do it as act as company secretary. It is important because the company secretary is legally responsible for filling all the documents.

        Perhaps it's different in the UK, but generally you can be the secretary yourself.

          Yes you can in the UK, however you need a minmum of one company secretary and one director not being the sam person. Also not it is the share holders that own a company not the directors and not the secretary although the above can own the shares.
