I'm currently looking at a new role that requires SC clearance (which I have). It's early stages and the end-client hasn't stated whether they are interested in my CV. However, the agency are requesting detailed knowledge of my security clearance including the contact name of the client that requested my clearance. Do you think this a scam to get a contact name?

Agency asking for SC details
"Hope your doing fine". My favourite opening line in emails from certain agencies! Not only the fact they can't spell, but who actually says that? -
It was a List-X company.Originally posted by andyg View PostI'm currently looking at a new role that requires SC clearance (which I have). Just use the default answer. "Sorry. I'm unable to provide those details due to a client confidentaility agreement". -
They won't get anything new by being referred to the Security Department of your past List X client.
Your hiring managers name isn't necessary info to confirm Security Clearance status, for that matter the client manager would have to refer to the Security Department anyway.Comment
