I called an agency called Creative Personnel today. They recruit for the following types of roles: Web Designers, Flash Designers & Creative roles. They said they may have something of interest, but asked me to send them my CV...IN THE POST! HELLO! NOT HEARD OF THAT NEW FANGLED INVENTION CALLED "EMAIL"! I'm not holding my breath...

no, its a normal address. i was just absolutely astounded when they asked me to send it it them like that. I have 2 CVs, one is a Flash CV, the other a Word document. How they ever get Flash CVs is beyond me. Perhaps I should send them a laptop in the post with the CV open ready for viewing.Comment

I know !!! if it makes you feel better, and you are feeling technology withdrawal symptoms, save your CV on a memory stick / or even a floppy, then post the floppy/memory stick to them... this way you satisfy bot needs

I don't think that's such a bad idea. It would get rid of the spotty tech heads who go to pieces when something's not on the internet, or in an electronic format. Especially for design and arty jobs.Comment
