Limited Company & Contracting outside UK

In UK I work through my limited company.

Recently I was approached by an Agency for contract role outside UK but within EU. Can I work outside my limited company for the duration of contract and pay self tax in the country of contract?

Really? I assume its because of holding a UK passport?

I have a UK Limited Company, but am a NZer on an ancestry visa, so assumably I couldn't go contract in another country?

"Any citizen of an EU member state can live and work in any other member state unhindered". That was the case until some of the original (hypocritical) member states decided to limit the numbers from new member states when the EU was expanded.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

You could if your skills where uniquely specialised and they couldn't recruit them from within the country.

Switzerland, Norway and Iceland are not in the EU so every EU citizen who gets a contract out in those countries has to have skills that are not readily available in those countries.
