Hi All,
I'm a Programme Test Manager with experience mainly in Telcos.
But lately most contracts are in Pensions or Financials It seems despite many years TM experience I need industry specific experience to get an interview.
IMO it is the methodology not the industry that is important. After all I work from requirements & designs. I have the manual for the system!
So my questions are:
1) Do you think industry specific knowledge is more important that skillset?
2) How does one get the industry experience if no one will hire you for lack of experience?
Thx
