    Were sent home from a client’s site because they had screwed up your security clearance transfer would you expect to be paid for the full day?

    I was authorised an hours pay which doesn't even cover the fecking petrol...

    doesnt your contract say 'professional working day'? should be a full day...

      If I invoice for an hour I still get paid a full day. I often take a half day - not sure if the boss knows I get a full days pay.
