Good interest rates and no fees for low number of monthly transactions (plenty for average contractor). Makes me hundreds of pounds of free money!!!

Superb UK call centre (best I've ever come across).

Online banking too and you get a free Visa card linked to the account (after 6 months) to make buying gadgets (for business purposes only of course) and day to day business expenses a breeze.

    Simple and effective.

    Do it.
Might be the way forward for me! can you have more than one businesss account open? altho i've not used or paid anything in the Natwest one yet...
I didn't say it was your ******* fault, I said I was blaming you!

still no cash card. spoke to bm on monday, and a vm for him on wednesday so i could get an update. still no call back.

16:31 today i call him, leave yet another vm telling him he has until Monday 2pm (more than the 3 working hours!!) to respond or i will be moving account elsewhere.

16:33 he calls me v apologetic and says card will be here on tuesday and the internet banking should be sorted by then too...

one can only hope and wait!

Another vote for Cater, my only complaint is their website does not remember the details of people you have paid previously......however their telephone service make up for this short coming!

Freelancing Matters, the magazine thing from the PCG, has a guide to switching business bank accounts. Get a copy from a collegue (who is a PCG member.)

I think the general gist is you open them up in parallel.

              Jeezus furkin Christ.

It must have taken more effort and time to post that than to pull the cover off and have a look at the contents.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

considering i wasnt in the house and wont be till tomorrow, its a reasonable comment. if it turns out to be an issue i've not got then at least i can look for it now!

Yes it does. You have to set them up as a bill payment and then each one is listed forever. You then click amend bill payment to pay them again. I pay over 100 different people and organisations this way online.
