It's a fecking great CV! I take your point about not posting it, but how do I start to attract calls from agents if they don't know me? Is it worth registering with individual agents? -
Previously I would have agreed with this. I had my CV up on Jobserve but only had a few 'unsolicited' calls. Most contact was in response to direct applications for advertised positions.
However, as I mentioned, i got the current gig via an unsolicited call after posting my CV on Monster. It wasn't an advertised position, its the best rate I've ever had even though its one grade lower than I normally work at.
I'd never have got this gig if I'd stuck to direct applications.

You'll end up with people picking, copying and pasting bits of it to others'. Lots of unsolicited phonecalls and e-mails. You should respond to specific advertised positions or tailor-made to your skills e-mails/calls from agents.Comment
