    Personal info on CV's

My CV has all my contact info at the top (as you would expect)
    Name,Address
    Mobile, Home Phone, Email etc.

I'm going to upload it to Jobserve, CWJobs et al. Do you remove any of the personal/contact info from your CV when uploading it for 'public' consumption. Maybe just leaving the email address ?

I don't want lots of fishing calls to my home landline or mobile. Conversely, I also don't want to make it difficult for potential clients and pimps to reach me.

What do you do ? Any recommendations gratefully received.

My CV has my company name at the top, my name, location (not address), mobile number & email address.

I always take out my home address and landline number before distributing it on boards.

Mine's not in circulation at the moment though.

Location, email and mobile number is best IMHO- but do be prepared for a lot of agency calls.

company name, my name, telephone number.

But then, I never post it on the websites. I find a role that interests me and send it direct...
        Older and ...well, just older!!

My advice is don't put any phone numbers on a 'public' CV.

My recommendation is not to try the scattergun approach to getting work. It smacks of desparation if you're uploading your CV onto a job board and is bound to invite as many unwanted calls for irrelevant permie jobs or contracts that are not of your skillset as it will attract the odd few extra relevant ones.

You should decide what roles interest you, ascertain the rates, location, terms and then apply for them directly.

                Think quality, not quantity.

Errrr, how can you apply direct if there's no mention of the end client?

PS I put location, email address and my YAC number

You will then receive lots of emails asking you to call them on 0870 numbers.

Just put the company mobile or company landline number out.

And if you call them make sure it's either from one of those numbers or hide the number, otherwise you will find that number plastered everywhere.
