    How To Quote Competetively?

Hi All. New to this forum so be gentle!
I've been asked to provide a quote to install a MOM solution at a client site. After thinking about it for a while, I was a bit short on ideas on how I should go about costing this job. I imagine it will be a single figure for the final solution, not hourly based.
    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Think of a figure and double it.

If you've not done this before, you are almost certain to under estimate.

The worst thing that you can do, as a (nominally) self employed person, is to have too much work because you have underbid.

Underbidding to win business, in the expectation of putting your prices up later, rarely works (unless the client is HMG).
