SJD do IR35 checks, and good?

I am with SJD accountancy and I want them to have my contract reviewed.

    They say:
We can take a quick look at your contract Free Of Charge and give you our
opinion whether we think it will be classed as inside or outside IR35.
If you would like a complete review/report performed on the contract, the cost is £200 + vat (£150 if you are a client or a member of the PCG).

Has anyone got their free service? Is it anygood or shall I go with one of the other companies that specialise in IR35 review?

    Many thanks.

they had a quick look at mine and said it was ok.
1 weeks notice, substitution clause, no hrs specified etc.
Although I won't know for sure until I'm investigated I suppose.
I've also got PCG membership and the Randell Dorling insurance so pretty much covered.

Yeah, I had the free "quick look" and combined with PCG Plus membership it works for me.

                  Contractor Alliance tax investigation insurance

Also take a look at Caunce O'Hara's tax investigation insurance: http://www.contractoralliance.co.uk/...nsurance.phtml

£60 for the year, £25 for full membership of Contractor Alliance in order to get that discount.

On my first contract (since IR35 anyway) I paid out for the full SJD review/report and it was very good.

It quoted individual clauses with reasons as to why they were pointers to being outside IR35 and quoting relevant legal cases. My next gig was with the same agency and same contract.

My current role is with a completely different agency and I used the review included within the QDOS contractors club (£40 per annum with up to 4 contract reviews included). There was no comprehensive report but they changed the wording on the contract and schedule to make it compliant and did it within a couple of days.
