    Recommendations for notebook insurance ?

Just checking if someone wants to recommend an insurer.

but they don't have a contact number making it harder to discuss the T&C.

Seems pricy to me. Why not check if you are covered under your household contents insurance?

I only pay just over £10 a month to insure the entire contents of my flat including 3 laptops.

will they be arsey about the laptops being company assets or are they personal laptops?

Only if the invoice is in the name of the company. I bought the laptop as the coy was being formed then bought it off myself.

So the receipt is in my name.

Mine has a specific £3k limit on "Business Equipment".

I got burgled a few years ago and they paid for my company laptop no problem and the invoice was in the name of the company.

I didn't even need receipts for a lot of the stuff I claimed. The loss adjusters were quite reasonable. I imagine as long as you don't take the p!ss and are honest about what you've lost they don't argue too much.

I guess it depends on the company. Maybe I was just lucky.
