How do you go about getting accommodation? Can you rent for short term, or hotels? Do / will agency / client help? I wouldn’t be coming home every weekend…
What tax laws do I get whacked with?
Can I still use my umbrella? (please answer without us getting in heated discussions over this!)
Is there anything special I need to do? (I know a visa isn’t required, but anything else etc?)
Any good sites out that specialise in European contracting? (feel free to PM me if you know of any roles for a Project Manager)

Cheers in advance, any help is much appreciated!

    Scoobs.
In most countries renting unfurnished is normal and easy. Renting furnished may be harder. Many contractors consider apart-hotels.

The agency may help you, the client wont.

You have to pay local tax.

You will need to use a specialist European Management Co. I don't know of any UK MCs that do European work, BICBW.

You will need to register locally. EU rules requiring the country to let you work there don't mean that they aren't allowed to make you jump through hoops to do so.

Try looking on the RHS of your screen and clicking on "Overseas Guides".
