I have an immediate requirement for a skilled C++ Developer to directly replace a contractor placed via Orgtel who is moving across internally. This is the role in his words: I work on credit derivatives desk, quants write all the models and PnL calculation in C++. This calculation is then used by various applications (written in C++, C#, Java, even VB). My role is to write interfaces so that other applications can use the methods written by the Quants. Also the methods should appear in Excel, that is the main interface I've been working on. Data is shared between applications as XML chunks. I'm currently doing quite a large rewrite on their engine, which should very much make quants development easier and also brings new opportunities for interfaces. So the new person should have good ideas on how to interface the core quants engine with other applications. They will interview immediately. This is an excellent role on a 6 month renewable basis, on-going.
