Today got offered a contract with Astbury Marsden, anyone worked with them, are they good payers?

Also am not happy about pay frequency, they want to pay monthly and 30 days after receiving the invoice, i.e. if I invoice them at end of Sept this means I wont see the money till end of Oct, this is not a really bad in theory, but we all know ho agencies would behave when it comes to last month payment or two. Should I negotiate weekly payments?

I think they put me forward for a gig once. I didn't get it but the pimp took me for a coffee before the interview so that doesn't help you at all.

Monthly invoicing and 30 days payment are not uncommon, your business should be able to absorb this, unless you are a "temp" of course and survive hand to mouth on your weekly pay.

I've worked for them before through an agency and they are a well respected and trustworthy company so I wouldn't worry about not getting payed.
