    Refer an Accountant based in Midlands

    My current accountant retired end of july.
    me looking for a good accountant in the midlands area....

    I need someone who is prompt in service and provides all the usual company related services such as returns,maintaining expenses etc....can someone suggest a good one with possible fees.

    Well as you have not had much response try nixon they charge £60 per month.

      I use SJD accountancy's Birmingham office and they are very good. At £95 + VAT per month they are more expensive than Nixon Williams )who also seem to have a content customer base) but I think i get excellent value for money.

          Personally I would suggest speaking to both. Don't just email. When I emailed some accountancy firms, most just wrote back with a stock response making it hard to distinguish them.

          I phoned a few and went with SJD. Told a colleague to do the same, and he also went SJD after speaking to them. It's always best to get a feel for what you're going to get when you call up with a problem or question.
          Both of us are now with the Birmingham office of SJD (thanks Darryl!).
