    Work for old client

I finished doing some work through an agency for a client about 6 months ago. Now the client has asked if i would do some work for them.

My contract states that I can't work directly for the client for a period of 12 months following end of the work. My experience with the agent 't very pleasant, so I'd prefer not to use them again - otherwise I would. Is this contract binding?

    I am not a lawyer.

Part of the answer depends on how long your contract was.

I would see if the client is happy to take you on knowing the hand-cuff clause exists

Personally, my view is **** the agency, you're in business to make money.

I would agree entirely with that sentiment!
