I'm not Ltd, but will be in a few months, so in a similar boat. I'd ring SJD, or similar, and ask. They know everything you need to know. Please post your findings!

Have a look at the getting started guides here, on PCG and SJD have one (I think).

Thanks. I have seen those, but a bit of first-hand info always helps.

I have recently gone LTD from umbrella. My company was incorporated in June.

            - I used a specialisd accounting firm to incorporate my company and I also have started using them for monthly accountancy services.

            - What I did was first told my agency that I want to go Ltd. so they setup new contracts with my Ltd.

            - then I made sure I get my last pay before I told the umbrella that I was ending my contract with them

            - I opened a business bank account through HSBC. took a week to get all my documents and cards etc

            - I signed up with the PCG.

            - I didn't bother getting my contract reviewed for IR35 because my agency is PCG affiliated and their contracts are standard PCG contracts

            - I also registered a domain name for my company and setup company email addresses (not a must but i though't if it develops inthe future it could be useful). I used godaddy.com for this

            - I also got a company oystercard. This way my movements for business travelled can be better tracked and I can print out monthly usage reports

            - Currently working on a simple logo and letter heads etc.
