    Driven to Brollies

Yah that's where I am. Oh well. Anyway, seems like the gang here like Parasol eh.

Parasol tell me I can even claim rent if I'm an out-of-towner.

But the integrity level seems to be acceptable here?

Almost rhetorical, exhausted after a day of ltd/brolly investigation

i'm currently with Prosperity 4. compared to parasol, they are expensive (cost me between £250 and £350pm). However, this is my first contract and i do learn from mistakes! i wont be using them on my next as i think i will be going to parasol to!

    or ltd, not sure!
I didn't say it was your ******* fault, I said I was blaming you!

From what I've read and my own experience having been with Parasol for about a month, they seem to be about the best of the bunch.

I was worried that there may be issues with getting paid on time etc. but I was paid last yesterday after entering my timesheets on Wednesday last week. I had an expenses query which was dealt with efficiently (OK I had to wait about 10 minutes to get through) and overall I'm happy.

I spoke at length to one of their account managers who deals with my agency and it sounds like they are getting the lion's share of contractors moving over from Giant, Brooksons and the like and they're taking on extra staff to deal with the volumes.

Overall though, so far so good but it is early days.

Thanks for that, hopefully they hold up.

I feel sorry for anyone who finds themself with the % charge payers though - the scale is all relative!

            Cheers.

anytime - read your contract for notice period and penalty fees.

Yes one of the important questions to ask when you join up too - is there any other costs, what period/expense is there when leaving etc etc.

                  Cheers.
