Thanks for the info, I was under the impression that ISEB foundation & ITIL foundation exams are the same...Based on your remarks I searched web & these are looks to be different... Also I could read in from net that ISEB foundation have more value & no need to have ISEB & ITIL foundation certifications together..!!

Don't forget if you're serious about being a test manager you'll need to take up smoking...

...where else will you get all those "backs of fag packets" that are an essential tool of the role.

I am saying that if a methodology is going to be successful within an organisation, IMHO the whol organisation has to embrace it and practice "their part" of that methodology.

ISEB is an organisation, not a qualification.

Foundation is a level of expertise. For example, I have ITIL Red Badge which is the highest ITIL qualification. That is managed and the exam is conducted by the Industry Standards Examination Board (ISEB). There is also a Foundation level in ITIL, as there is in PRINCE 2.

ISEB run a number of qualification schemes in areas such as ITSM, PM, Security, Infrastructure etc.

Too true! its a project framework, so all the project in the org should sue the framework! ditto for ITIL.
I didn't say it was your ******* fault, I said I was blaming you!

My pleasure. Hope you're feeling perkier today. I always find an order from Hotel Chocolat to be a wonderful pick me up, and their chocolate is truly sublime.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
