    Who is MyCo's client?

I am working on a contract for a consultancy (via EB). They in turn are contracted to work for a larger consultancy. Just to complicate things the smaller consultancy now has no involvement with the larger company - there is only me doing ANY work on the project.

For IR35 etc purposes - who would be looked at as MyCo's 'client' to determine MOO etc?

Also, I am looking to get out of this long chain and perhaps hook up directly with the larger consultancy....two steps of the payment chain will be bypassed if I can do this.

Where would the (legal) major obstacles be in my case?

Easy - whoever HMRC reckoned it would be easiest to pin it on. If you have a decent contract there's virtually zero chance of you being IR35'd with this arrangement.

Can't help with the other stuff - sorry.
