Experiences contracting in EU/ EEA after Brexit

(Thread is a request for practical advice, not politics)

For those people who have secured contracts in EU/EEA since Brexit:

    - Were you working onsite or remotely?
    - What was your experience with the agency when applying for the role? Were they happy or reluctant to use British contractors?
    - What was your experience concerning getting permission to work in the target country?
    - Any advice for other contractors considering the same?

    Thanks

Do you have an EU passport (I.e. more than just a UK one).

I'm contracting at the moment in the EU
Work remote from the UK using my UK ltd company
Direct with client, no agency involved
      Get paid in Euros
      VAT deferred

But I have an EU passport

Spoke to a German agency the other week and they are refusing to work with UK ltd companies any longer

        - What was your experience with the agency when applying for the role? Were they happy or reluctant to use British contractors? Very happy - it's an agency
        - What was your experience concerning getting permission to work in the target country? I assume the Dutch agent did this
        - Any advice for other contractors considering the same? Was no different to securing a role in the UK in my experience

        Thanks
Answers above - being paid in Euros wasn't so bad either as the rate was top notch.

          Encouraging news.

Are you getting paid UK agency-> UK Ltd, or did they insist you use payroll/ umbrella?

I took up residency in two EU states (SK/GR) before brexit and find it all pretty easy.

In July, I signed a one year contract with a Dutch bank - one of two banks offering me work at Dutch rates (700+) without the high taxes and social payments (I work from my home in Greece) normally part of Dutch contracting.

It certainly would be harder if I didn't have residency but probably not as hard as one would imagine - in 2000 I had no issues getting a visa in Germany (two days and about 300 euros using a specialist) when I held only a Canadian passport (also British now but clearly that has no real benefit IMO).

              No presence in UK
