Surely you can wait another 4 months or however long your contract runs, always protect your reputation. If not discuss with the PM that it isn't for you.

Contract termination works both ways, if you went to a client and did a terrible job they'd get rid of you pretty quickly, same applies the other way round.

Find a role accept it, terminate current contract as amicably as possible.
