So Kingsbridge offers legal protection policy which also includes hmrc enquiry etc (https://www.kingsbridge.co.uk/legal_expenses.html), seems quite good for the price. Well the policy is actually provided by DAS legal and they have a preferred list of law firms they would use if you make a claim. I'm curious before buying, to check how they compare in terms of quality and experience dealing with tax or other hmrc related issues compared to qdos or ipse. qdos and ipse seem have a good reputation and known to be tax specialist. But with insurance via kingsbridge, there is no way to compare, if they have dealt with ir35 cases before, service quality, how many cases defended etc?, Any anyone got any experience with them? or would it be better to just to have qdos or ipse for hmrc related issues.
