    Sunday Solutions Anyone?

Hello to all the nutters out there who will take a simple thread and turn it into a debate about god knows what.

But has anyone heard of Sunday Solutions?
They claim to be almost completely IR35 compliant and bla di bla di bla da.

I'm currently with Giant with a limited company and wondering if it's worth the hassle.

Neither. Set up your own limited. Despite what you may think, if you have a good accountant it really isnt that much of a big deal.

I would be wary of any claim to be IR35 compliant, how can they honestly state this before they have seen the contract and know how you work etc. Either stick with a limited company or set one up if you do not have one.

Unless they negotiate all of your contracts for you, they will not be able to be 100% IR35 compliant as IR35 is based on your contract and your working relationship with the end client.

              Current IR35 Contract

              I don't think I was clear.

They claim to be able to keep you out of IR35 problems with an IR35 contract which they can either provide/modify.

My current contract with Giant is something called a Giant Strong Box contract which is supposed to be IR35 watertight. Although I hear that's rubbish too.

Right of substitution (which I'm told isn't worth thepaper its printed on).

Any referrals to accountants? Also they made a big deal about insurance against audits. Is that worth anything?

              Oh yeah and Giant S***Ks!

Most accountants looking after contractors cover this in their fee (we do ) Unless you company activities are very complex this is not needed for most contractor companies.

You should bear in mind that anyone can right an IR35 friendly contract but unless it accurately reflects the work that you are doing it will not be worth the paper it is written on.

                    Sunday Solutions

                    Hi TracyTrace,

Did you decide to go with Sunday Solutions in the end? I've been contacted by them also and am still undecided. I understand their solution is based around you joining a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) which they create for yourself and other contractors who sign up. Anyhow, I believe that as you become effectively self-employed at this point you no longer have to pay employer's National Insurance contributions (NIC) at 12.8% on earnings over £5035pa as you do with an umbrella company. This solution is supposedly IR35 compliant and so far I can't see why it wouldn't be.

I'm concerned that I can't seem to find anyone else that uses them and recommends them though. Did you find out anything else about them yourself?
