SCOM spring to mind for embedded stuff.

Matchtek (?matchtech?) too.

The new SCOM is a pile of poo for embbedded contracts. They didn't even return my call.

They used to be really good (ok they were sharks, but they had lots of jobs) but they ain't no more.

(They used to have dozens of people placed at Lucent, which sort of bank rolled the department, but now the total number of contractors at Lucent can be counted on the fingers of one hand).

Will that set of skills fit in here? So far automotive seems to be a fit.

I would love to get into mobile platforms, but there seems to be a lot of talent specialised into that niche already. How would I do that?

Yep, automotive it is.

Geting into Mobile will be tough. I can't do it and I'm already there.
