True, the consequences (from a distance) are going to be highly entertaining to watch - what surprises me is how well they have tied down the escape clauses (the CL1 guidance is explicitly clear, agents have been removed from the other routes in).

Looks like most of the MOD contractors have left, which was posted on the PS thread.
Will be interesting to see what they do with the lack of specialist resources.

What would be really interesting is if they decide to go for the private sector.
Especially as most of the City of London contractors pay 20% VAT that the government trousers.

Given their calculations are all highly questionable, I wonder if they have factored it in

Judging by a couple of people I know who volunteered for FJ redundancies around 2010, some people will pick up their redundancy money then come back six months later as a contractor on a decent day rate. Win-win!
