    Premier Property Lawyers Conveyancing

I'm going with Contractor Mortgages Made Easy for my mortgage and they have recommended Premier Property Lawyers for the conveyancing.

Has anyone experience with this firm? Or alternatively, recommend a London-based firm?

    Foxtons are recommending Conveyan.

Last few times I've been with anyone recommended by a company like this it's been a flop, builders, conveyancers, you name it.

Have a chat with your friends and get some real world recommendations.

Am guessing you didn't bother checking Google first?

      ^^^ This

If you have no friends or family who have moved in recent years ask everyone you are acquainted with including those permies on your contract, people in the gym and people you do sport/random hobby with.

Otherwise you will find those who are recommended by estate agents or brokers will either do a cr*p job or charge you for things you don't need. For example I live in an area with no mining and no history of constructions underground apart from drains yet I was recommended a conveyancer by my broker who wanted to do a mining survey as it was "standard". In my case I knew the history of where because it was an area we studied at school, so I found someone else.

Now I need to make a decision on whether I now proceed now. I got my price agreed 25k below the asking price.

What do fellow contractors think? Proceed or renege?

Want us wipe your arse for you as well? I gave you some links to feedback on the company you want use and SE told you the best way to find someone decent. What more do you want?
