Never needed the service before, so I have no idea how it works - but it's on the website for the contract review service.
Yeah for the 90 quid you'd expect it as part of their service particularly when the others are offering the same. I think I will ask...

EDIT : They do indeed do the negotiation as part of the free contract check with PI/PL. That's pretty cool.

Which you don't. It appears it's part of the free service as well as the full check which is nice.

Had one failing with Hays almost 2 years ago, they made some adjustments but not enough Qdos still failed it. Agreed with the agent (who was quite high up ion the Hays hierarchy himself) to modify some sentences and words in the contract myself by pen and got it signed.

It's only one check. I've put more detail in the thread where to OP is asking about Pi/Pl

I've recently purchased PL insurance through QDOS and got a free IR35 contract assessment as part of this.

The contract initially failed the QDOS review but with some suggestions for change from QDOS and contract clarifications from the agency then it subsequently passed the QDOS re-review (included as part of the free service).

Just a word of caution, don't forget when re-wording the document it has to reflect the working conditions. If it fails review because there is no RoS in and the agent agrees to put it in but the client won't accept one etc you are still at risk. You'll be hiding behind a sham contract that isn't going to be much use if you got investigated. The whole point is to avoid this so just be careful thinking you've pulled it off by having the wording changed.

Hays flatly refused to change my contract on the clauses that QDOS pulled up. I then went down the working practises route, thought I had that nailed when QDOS picked on the detail of the working practices and I am still getting that clarified :-(
This default font is sooooooooooooo boring and so are short usernames

So it failed on both contract AND practices? Who is clarifying this miracle that you need?
