Seriously? What did you do, if a pimp turned up at my home demanding I sign his contract offer I would have to release the hounds! -
Burning bridges and all that. That's why I don't like to leave any "bad blood" and yes the wheel does go around. If someone really stepped on my toes of course I will remember them and the agency and will never do business with them again.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostSorry but that's just tosh. Be nice to you because there is a high chance you'll be in a Managerial position? There is so much wrong with that statement I don't know where to begin....
This means that possible candidates will miss out because of a tulip agent. Circle of life. I can tell you for a fact this is the case, just recently someone I know were assigned as a CV filter before it got to the hiring manager. They were not the hiring manager just going through CVs and filtering them before they got to the decision maker.
There was a song a while ago sure you can find it on youtube, "you don't F me I don't F you, if you F with me I F with you"
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, all I am saying is that most people do hold a grudge and will remember when done wrong, human nature. Best to avoid that.
P.S. The agent showing on my doorstep was for a perm role.Comment

Human nature can easily be changes when commission is being offered... If you step on an agents toes but he can make more money out of you somewhere down the line he'll be on you like a rat up a drain pipe. Human nature and cold hard business are very different.Originally posted by Drei View PostBurning bridges and all that.
