    LBG Bristol

Looks like the rate cuts have opened some roles up.

Anyone worked at LBG in Bristol, rates are a bit sad and commute too.

Would like to live at home in Devon, but finding a 30k drop, 15hrs+ commute each week and higher commuting cost hard to equate.

Currently Monday to Friday in London with a 30min daily commute each way, 4.5hour commute each week on Sunday and Friday, and 30k more in my pocket. Accommodation isn't too bad as lodge with my cousin.

Doesn't seem to be any room for upward rate negotiation.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

Which side of Bristol are they based or is it bang in the centre?

That's what I'm trying to establish. I can then price up accommodation to see if the gig is worth doing (obviously more attractive in summer when I could camp/buy a caravan).

The good side is the side that's furthest away from Swindon.

Pretty central. A 15 minute walk from Temple Meads by the looks of it. Bristol is a nice city. Bring your bike and you're laughing (bring your car and you'll be crying, though).

Already mentioned this to her and she definitely won't come.

Bin to Bristol a few times. Centre of the city means it's a biatch to get to.

£150 return by train from Mancland, so would need at least £500/day to make it worth it. London it is.

Ah Bristol. A town where there is more money to be made spraying graffiti on the walls than working in finance.
