passed the interview, got the contract, 5 weeks later still waiting for a start date

      That or they'll interview before getting budget sign off.

          They all seem to interview before the budget is signed off though I do not think our financial & mental wellbeing is high on their to do lists!

              I am at another IB in the wharf. 6 weeks. I got go ahead at 18:15 the day before I started.

                After reading this I feel fortunate I got a start date a little over two weeks after accepting the offer!

                I only found this site looking for information about umbrella companies when I had some issues getting stuff explained by mine, but it's really been a gold mine of advice just reading these threads.
