Contract new clause Finance Act 2015

Has anyone recently received a new contract from Alexander Mann Solutions? I'm currently in the process of renewing and they have put in a new clause which seems to relate to the Finance Act 2015.

I'm getting it looked at currently but wondered if anyone else has beat me to it?

I'm curious/wary they're pre-empting changes coming up on Weds with the AS, or is the Finance Act unrelated?

“New Legislation” means the amendments to the Pay Legislation set out in sections 16-20 of the Finance Act 2015 and any legislation (including statutory instruments) introduced pursuant to, or amending these provisions;

Thanks VC that's good to know, they're looking at it at the moment. I'm more concerned where I stand legally, a lot of the clauses the 'New Legislation' is mentioned in seem to be related to the new reporting requirements rules that came in this year, but I'm worried they may also be using it to piddle around with the contract post The AS on Weds.

I've had the contract reviewed by QDOS. It did need a number of changes, but the clauses mentioned didn't cause any particular issues.

I thought QDOS only did reviews for IR35 not for general legal provisions?
