Fill in timesheet using "employee number"

Client co have asked me to access (*edit) they're internal systems and fill in timesheets using "your employee number" to log in with.

What wording would you use to gently remind them you are a supplier not an employee?

    Advice appreciated

    Cheers.

Nothing wrong with this if it's used to track costs against budgets if you are working on projects or something.

You could just ask them why you need to as a contingent worker. If they say what I said then fair enough.
