If you think it was harassment have you told them in a recordable way?

If you think the agency are nasty then tell them via email that their behaviour is "odd", "over the top" and you consider it harassment. Pointing out specific incidents e.g. getting a lawyer involved when you were just discussing issues with the client staff spreading rumours that fit this pattern.

Even if you leave the contract but come back at a later date, if there are any issues with the agency claiming something then having stuff written down will help you.

When I had similar threat from Legal officer of one of the biggies I searched and found email details of Executive Director of company and mailed her. She responded positively and others were well behaved there after. Also I managed to settle the dispute amicably.

So as suggested by many here, find one of the top guys from the firm and drag them into this. Especially some one involved in operations etc. Thanks.
