    Not a bad idea; I used to have a USD account with HSBC for $5/month. It even supported online banking stuff.


    Fixed price doesn't negate a single contract either. Your contract is the normal sort stipulating all the legal crud and then a 1-page schedule can be drawn up for each piece of work detailing the agreed price, deadlines/milestones, etc. Although if the pieces are only a few days' work each, this might be a bit over the top and agreeing such things via email could be adequate if your main contract says this is acceptable.
