Hi all... Just wanted to get some feedback... been working in London for a year in a senior infrastructure engineer role, specializing in Citrix, earning about £50k(a bit low I know)... I am going contract as a lifestyle/career change... by my feel of the market I should be getting around £350 a day, but may need to accept some lower paying contracts initially of around £320... quite nervous/excited about it... any advice or criticism?

My advice is good for it - show lots of evidence of experience on your CV - show flexibility in terms of location, rate etc being your first contract and do loads and loads of reading around contracting as prep (cue seasoned posters on first timers guide on right hand side). Above all, be prepared to wait for a role, and have no regrets.______________________
