So how ist ze Germans taken the news of the UK's departure?

Quite badly I should imagine. It's going to cost them a lot more to fund their vanity project. I can't see the French making up the shortfall, can you?His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment

Again from the same German newspaper that usually has quite an anti British feel to it.

Perhaps the Germans understand now that they are left paying more and running the EU with only France in its current sad state helping.
However, I don't think we should gloat, I find the Germans to be a people that we can work with.Comment
