It wasn’t agreed in any officially signed agreement, either Edinburgh Agreement or Smith Commission, that it was ‘once in a lifetime’ or even ‘once in a generation’

Apart from that, in the Good Friday Agreement, a generation is defined as 7 years. That means 2121 is the end of that generation anyway

People living and working in Scotland including EU citizens and 16-18 year-olds will have the vote. It would be based on the electoral register as all votes in elections are. You’re welcome to move back and join us.

It may be academic anyway as the way to independence isn’t necessarily through a plebiscite.
